The Larks (Yr Ehedyddion) is a mixed voice four-part choir based in Chepstow, South Wales and draws its members from an international community, with choristers from across Europe, including online members from countries all around the world.

The choir was established in Wales in 2018 and has its roots in the proud Welsh culture of world-class choral singing.  We sing unison and harmonised music of all styles and genres, from classical and opera, to pop and jazz numbers, folk, gospel, music hall, and more.

The ethos of the choir is in the name – Lark (Ehedydd in Welsh).  We sing beautifully, of course, like the cosmopolitan bird prized throughout the world for its singing, and we are adventurous and outgoing in our outlook.  And of course, to lark is to have huge fun and laughter, which is at the heart of everything we do.

The choir is dedicated to raising money for good causes, and has supported Chepstow MENCAP and Tidenham Churches with its performances to date.  We would also like to support other local causes in the South Wales and South-West of England area and if you would like the Larks to support your charity, please get in touch via email: admin@thelarks.org
